A few days ago, Wuhan Hi-Tech Office announced that today's new energy automobile development plan in Wuhan has been announced. Wuhan will add more than 1,600 new energy vehicles this year. The 1,600 new vehicles are 300 hybrid buses, 200 hybrid taxis, 100 pure electric sanitation vehicles and more than 1,000 pure electric passenger vehicles. By 2012, the total number of new energy vehicles in Wuhan will reach 2,200.
In addition, among the official vehicles purchased in Wuhan in the future, 5% to 10% will be new energy vehicles. Wuhan Electric Vehicle Demonstration and Operation Co., Ltd., which provides supporting infrastructure for the above pure electric vehicles, will build 48 charging piles in March of this year to solve the problem of the charging of these pure electric passenger vehicles. Therefore, the responsible person expects that the promotion target of 2,200 vehicles by the end of 2012 will be completed.
On this basis, Wuhan City will also promote more than 1,000 vehicles of pure electric passenger cars. Dongfeng EJ02 pure electric passenger car will be released at the beginning of June this year. The price of this car after subsidy is only 30,000 yuan. Wuhan Iron and Steel Group is very interested in the car and will be used as a regional car within the group, so its demand will be very large.
