The United States, as the world’s largest producer of ethylene-propylene-propylene elastomers, has an average annual growth rate of 3%. Driven by the rapid demand from Asia, the global demand for ethylene-propylene elastomer will increase at an average annual rate of 5%, from 1.2 million tons in 2011 to 1.5 million tons in 2016.
