The reporter learned that the meeting emphasized that the development of renewable energy must follow the principle of “no occupation of arable land, no large consumption of food, no destruction of the ecological environment”. In addition, the government will no longer approve new food ethanol fuel projects beyond the four designated fuel ethanol producers. In response to a report recently reported on "China will stop building coal chemical and grain ethanol fuel projects," relevant officials of the National Development and Reform Commission stated that the original policy on four fuel ethanol production enterprises that have been fixed has not changed and the subsidies provided by the state finance are also The original policy has been reduced year by year. There are no new regulations on the coal chemical projects that have been approved for construction, and there is no change in policies and regulations that support the standardization of development. The original coal-to-oil project has already been stipulated, and new coal-to-oil projects will not be approved until the demonstration projects of the direct and indirect methods have not been successful.
