Recently, Honda Technology Industrial (China) Investment Co., Ltd. filed a recall plan with the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, and will recall some of the 2014/2015 imported Acura MDX cars from July 25, 2015. The production date is March 21, 2013. From October 15th, 2014. According to the company's statistics, a total of 2,422 vehicles are involved in mainland China.
The air-conditioner clutch drive disc bolt of the imported Acura MDX car in this recall has poor manufacturing, which may cause the bolt to loosen and break, causing the air conditioner clutch drive disc to fall off, resulting in failure of the air-conditioning refrigeration function and at the same time due to the drive disc falling off. The drive plate will fall from the bottom of the vehicle to the outside, which may affect the normal driving of the rear vehicle and pose a safety hazard. Honda Techno Industry (China) Investment Co., Ltd. will replace the improved air conditioner compressor drive plate bolts for all recalled vehicles free of charge. If the drive discs fall off and replace the drive discs, the safety hazards will be eliminated.
