Shenning Polyformaldehyde Plant optimizes extrusion granulation process

Polyoxymethylene Plant combines innovative workshops to optimize the production of its core equipment extruder additives and achieved cost reduction and efficiency gains. In the first quarter of this year, the cost of additives was saved by 574,000 yuan.
Since the start of production, the polyformaldehyde plant has been stable in the extrusion granulation section, but the consumption of additives has remained high. In the second half of last year, the plant tried to optimize experiments on extruder additives. By changing the ratio of polyformaldehyde powder and additive feed, the processing capacity of the extruder was increased by 3% and the production capacity was expanded. The use time of each batch of additives was extended from 3.5 hours to more than 5 hours, and additive preparation was once from 14 days to once every 9 days. In addition, the die head and vacuum cleaning frequency of the granulation system are significantly reduced.
