Up to now, Legend Holdings has entered the first phase of its 8.7 billion investment in the chemical industry and has completed a 30% investment progress.
It is understood that Legend Holdings has established three chemical companies including Jining Zhongyin Electrochemical, Shandong Shenda Chemical Co., Ltd., Shandong Haoda Chemical Co., Ltd. as a domestic chemical industry cluster with scale, system, brand, and influence. The period invested 18 billion yuan, of which an investment of 8.7 billion yuan in the first phase.
The first-phase investment projects include: Shandong Shenda low-carbon olefin project with a total investment of 3.5 billion yuan will be completed in March 2014; investment will be 3.5 billion yuan to build 120,000 tons of ethylene oxide and 120,000 tons of ethylene oxide downstream The first-phase project of the derivative plant and the RMB1.7 billion investment in the relocation project of BOC will be completed and put into production in July this year. At the same time, Legend Holdings will establish a (coal) Chemical Engineering Technology Center in Shandong to provide sustainable technical support for Legend Holdings Chemicals.
