According to Mr. Marc Daley, Commercial Director of Rojat’s North Asia Region, Rogette starch (Lianyungang) Co., Ltd. started construction last year, and the newly built production line has an annual production capacity of 70,000 tons. The company uses cassava starch and corn starch as raw materials to perform cationic degeneration through specific equipment. The production method adopts dry method for continuous production and the production process is fully automated. Since 2001, Roquette built its first wholly-owned enterprise in Lianyungang, it now owns a sorbitol company, a sugar polyol company and a newly-built modified starch company.
