At present, 116 unqualified water meters have been sealed up and the quality supervision department has imposed administrative penalties on the offending parties.
Law enforcement officials pointed out that on the one hand, because the gray cast iron contains components that affect water quality, the long-term use of such water meters will affect people's health; on the other hand, when the total table data is greater than the sub-table data, the residents will share the excess water. Fees are skeptical and have buried the danger of disharmony. Law enforcement officials reminded consumers that when purchasing a water meter, you should pay attention to checking the water meter's measuring instrument production license number, the national measurement permit CMC mark, and the number of stamps. After purchase, do not rush to install it. You can send it to the verification agency for testing first, to avoid legality. The rights and interests are damaged.
