Former Nexen executives have joined Giti as Senior Vice President
According to foreign reports, the company has announced that it has appointed John Aben as its new senior vice president.
John Aben has accumulated 33 years of experience in automotive retail, wholesale and manufacturing. Previously, he had served as vice president of sales for Nexans Tire Co., Ltd., and took office in 2011. He officially resigned on May 24 this year.
Giti Tire Appoints John Aben as its New Senior Vice President
Giti said John Aben will help the company further expand its market share in North America and ensure the rapid development of new passenger car and light pick-up tire factories.
In February 2015, Giti Tire Group spent US$560 million to build a passenger car and light pickup truck tire factory in Chester County, South Carolina, which was also the company’s first factory built in the United States.
Subsequently, on March 11th, Giti Tire announced that it will invest 120 million yuan to develop a new green steel all-steel radial tire to enter the European and American markets.
