Jiaozuo was awarded the "National Torch Plan Auto Parts Characteristic Industrial Base"

Recently, the Ministry of Science and Technology has built a number of national Torch Program characteristic industrial bases throughout the country. Among them, Jiaozuo City, Henan Province was approved to establish the "National Torch Plan Jiaozuo Auto Parts and Feature Industrial Base", which is the sixth national Torch Program characteristic industrial base established in our province.

Jiaozuo City's “Characteristic Industrial Base for Automobile Key Components” is the first batch of “Hi-tech Industrial Bases of Henan Province” identified by Henan Province. This time, it has also been awarded the “National Torch Program Auto Parts Characteristic Industrial Base”, which will make Henan Province’s automobiles. The parts and components industry received more policies and financial support and entered a new starting point for development. By 2015, it will strive to have more than 10 automobile key parts and components companies operating income of more than 1 billion yuan, 3 companies will reach 3 billion yuan, and 1 company will have 10 billion yuan.

At present, there are 107 auto parts enterprises in Jiaozuo City, including one with a sales income exceeding RMB 6 billion, two with a value exceeding RMB 1 billion, and six with a value exceeding RMB 100 million; and 13 high-tech enterprises that have been recognized as high-tech companies. 46 products have been formed; there are five series of engine parts, wheel parts, axle parts, automotive electronic parts and frame parts, and more than 1,500 auto parts industrial clusters. "Aeolus" brand tires, "Heyang" brand cylinder liners and other products are well-known at home and abroad. Under the impact of the international financial crisis last year, the auto parts industry in Jiaozuo City maintained a steady and rapid growth. In 2008, the industrial added value was 3.61 billion yuan, an increase of 8.3% year-on-year. The sales revenue of auto parts ranked first in the province for three consecutive years, accounting for approximately 1/3 of the auto parts sales revenue in Henan Province.
