Futian's two plants in Brazil will start production by the end of next year

Recently, Foton and Cummins Corporation of the United States signed a contract for a commercial vehicle project in Brazil. The two parties will carry out deeper cooperation in the localization of production and supporting systems in Brazil. According to the plan, Foton's KD and KD pickup trucks in Brazil will be put into operation by the end of next year, and Cummins engines will be directly deployed in the local area. After that, Foton Motors has always taken the form of full vehicle exports to Brazil. Futian will also establish a 100,000-capacity plant in Brazil in the future, which is part of its 2020 strategy.

Foton Motors and Cummins Inc. in the United States established an engine joint venture company in Beijing, Beijing Foton Cummins Engine Co., Ltd. in 2008, with an annual production capacity of 400,000 units, and Euro V and Euro VI technology have completed their reserves. This year, Futian Cummins Engine has nearly 10,000 units exported from Brazil.
