The use of abundant natural gas resources in the oil field instead of diesel as a fuel for power machinery is an effective way to reduce drilling costs and obtain greater economic benefits.

It is understood that CNPC will gradually transform the rigs with conditional application of natural gas engines, replacing diesel engines with dual-fuel engines, and achieving the goal of significantly reducing drilling costs.
