This standard is China's first IEEE standard in the field of new energy grid-connected, and the scope of application fills the gap in the new standard power system to access the transmission grid in the IEEE standard system. In the IEEE new energy standard system, only the technical requirements, test methods, and evaluation methods of “microgrid and distributed power grid connection†are specified, but the “new energy access to the transmission grid†field has not yet been covered.
