Jianda Tire plans to invest 333 million US dollars to build a new tire factory
Taiwan’s Jianda Tire plans to invest US$333 million in a new tire factory in Huizhou, Guangdong Province. It will mainly produce passenger car tires, light truck tires, trailer tires, and motorcycle tires. It is expected to reach capacity in 2016. The daily production capacity of radial tires will reach 83,000.
At the same time, Jianda Tire will expand its production capacity in Tianjin, and by the middle of 2013, it will have a daily production capacity of 45,000 and an output value of 175 million US dollars.
Jianda Tire plans to rank among the top 20 tires in the world after 4 years, and its annual revenue will reach 1 billion US dollars. In 2010, Jianda Tire was ranked 28th in the world's tires with sales of US$911 million.
